This World's Fair commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the birth of the United States was held in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
Final Bid
 Woven Centennial Stevengraph ribbon with portrait of George Washington in center, eagle above and shield below with "E Pluribus Unum" in a ribbon. Above Washington's head is "These united colonies are and of right ought to be free and independent states". Below Washington are 13 red and blue lines with the names of original states. Around Washington is blue. Size: 2 1/8" wide by 6 5/8" high. Condition: Extremely Fine with a little darkening at the top.

 Printed Silk Ribbon. Printed in black. From top to bottom: "Grand Centennial Celebration", an eagle holding a ribbon "In God we trust", "Geo Washington Pride of America.", a portrait of Washington with flags on both sides, "First in War, First in Peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen.", Lady Liberty holding a shield with "1776" to the left and "1876" to the right, Virtue, Liberty, independence.", "By the Citizens of Brooklyn.", "July 3rd and 4th, 1876." Size: 3 9/16" wide by 7" high. Condition: Excellent.

 Woven Silk Stevengraph Ribbon. Top to bottom "Souvenir of the Independence of America." George "Washington" on horseback. 2 American Flags in color. "George Washington First President of the United States 1789". A picture of the "Signing of the Declaration of Independence July 4th 1776." At the bottom is "Victory" and an eagle holding an American Shield with "E pluribus Unum" in a ribbon. The colors are red, blue, black and brown. Size: 2 1/ 2" wide by 9 7/8" high. Condition: Extremely Fine, a little darkening at the top and a couple of light spots.

 Chocolate Medal. Obverse: Raised image of "Memorial Hall" in the center with "To Commemorate the Centennial Anniversary of the United States Phila July 4 1876" underneath. Reverse: Raised image of "Independence Hall", "July 4 1776". Around the top edge is "Proclaim Liberty Throughout the Land and Unto All the People Thereof". Size: 2 1/4" diameter by 3/16" thick. Condition: Very Fine, the detail is Excellent but there is light tin pest in the lower areas.

 Bronze Medal. Obverse: Liberty Bell in the center with "Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land" and "1776-1876" written around the edge. Reverse: In the center pictures "Independence Hall As In 1776" with "In Remembrance of the Centennial 1876" around the edge. Hole is not original. Size: 7/8" diameter. Condition: Fine, there are scratches on both sides including someone's initials.

 Small bronze medal. Obverse: "Memorial medal" with image of Independence Hall and "1776" at bottom. Reverse: Has the words "Struck Within the International Exhibition 1876". Size: 7/8" diameter. Condition: Excellent but hole is probably not original.

 Pages 1 to 30 from the "Frank Leslie's Historical Register of the Centennial Exposition" that tell the story of "The Expositions of the World" from 1851 to the Centennial. Each page pictures engravings of these early fairs and the construction of the Centennial. Other information includes the list of 47 states and territories with their populate and how many shares of Centennial stock that is allocated to each state. Way too much information for me to list all of it. Size: 11 3/4" wide by 16 7/8" high. Condition: Very Good, The right edges have many tears and a light stain on the upper right of the first few pages.

 Copy of the Declaration of Independence that was printed in the Leslie Illustrated's Centennial publication. Size: 16 1/2" wide by 22 1/4" high. Condition: Excellent, but it is just a page out of the magazine.
